Sydney Russell School would like to share with you the success of the Taster Days into the STEM Programme which we launched in July of the last academic year.  The 3 days involved an introduction by Ms Mohamed, a visit from an external speaker (hailing from the investment bank JP Morgan) and culminated in a very stimulating and enjoyable trip to Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL). The students below took part in the trip on Monday 23rd July 2014 , which involved a “What is Engineering?” talk, tour of the university and a hearty lunch for staff and students.  The main highlights were the two challenges, one being to build an air-propelled vehicle, and the other was a bridge building activity.
